Tomorrow I'll be doing some Christmas shopping. I'm happy that for once I have enough money to get most of my family(well most of the family members I see often anyway...) a gift. During the last few years I've felt bad about not being able to do that.... I've never had a bad Christmas. No matter what my mom said about there not being a lot of gifts or not seeing family members or whatever else, I can honestly say I always enjoy it.

And now about Bayonetta 2..... I've seen reviews, heard some stuff about how it plays, and even tried the demo. When I first heard that it was going to be WiiU exclusive I was ecstatic! FINALLY a game that is worthy of being on the "better systems" is going to be on WiiU, a Nintendo console, and NO WHERE ELSE!! My loyalty to Nintendo has been rewarded at last. Now if the gamers who think their systems are way better and Nintendo can never measure up want to play the sequel to a game they loved, they'll have to step down from their high-horse and come crawling to Nintendo! I'm aware that not all people who own consoles from Microsoft or Sony are like that, and I'm not implying that they are. But there are definitely a lot of those people out there. I am just happy that for once I'll get to play one of the better games on a system I have and it will be from the gaming company I trust(I'm not even going to go into what problems I have with Sony or Microsoft's game-making strategies). A simple example of what I mean by that: Bayonetta 2 comes with the first Bayonetta FREE. If it was exclusive to either Xbox One or PS4, chances are it would not even if the first wasn't already on those consoles anyway. So put in the same scenario as the WiiU, the others wouldn't give you a free copy of the first one.
But the WiiU definitely needed this sort of publicity. Now more people can see that Nintendo isn't just for kids, it can do just as well as the others, and despite there being a drawback or two(nobody's perfect), you can still enjoy games from them. Thus, they get the respect they've worked so hard to earn from the people who doubted them all these years. There are several youtube videos I could show you to make my point about how Nintendo hasn't gotten the respect it should have. But I don't need to. I'm confident that if someone who doubts them actually plays Bayonetta 2 with a Pro Controller(from what I've heard, it is a much better control scheme that way), they will like it just as much as other games on other systems. :)
